I grew up in Hong Kong and Hangzhou, and studied at United World College in Changshu. Hong Kong’s role as a global financial hub, Hangzhou’s digital transformation and boom as an AI hub, as well as Changshu’s history as a major textile manufacturing center now embracing e-commerce exposed me to different forms of economic change.
I am interested in innovation and development, especially the causes and impacts of movement of human capital, and the differences in R&D organization across countries.

Inspired by my time at United World Colleges (a system of high schools across the globe bringing students from different backgrounds together), I founded SciCol, an education organization to make research and mentorship accessible. Our annual conference that started in 2025 reached an impact of a global network of 500+ registrants and was live-streamed on various social media platforms. We also piloted a research mentorship program model connecting 20+ students with mentors in their field of research for one month. We hope to help more youth worldwide to explore their passions despite limited resources. I am currently working on designing short courses for youth across the globe.
